Success storiesFinn Projects
Before and after
Finn Projects, an engineering firm rebuilt for every screen.
A Toronto energy engineering firm founded in 1991, with a hand-coded site that hadn’t kept up: a fixed 1,000-pixel layout that shrank to unreadable on a phone. I rebuilt it in WordPress so it works on every screen and the team can keep it current.

Before and after

What wasn’t working
- A fixed 1,000-pixel layout with no mobile setup, so phones showed the whole desktop page at about 40% size.
- No buttons. Phone numbers sat as plain text mid-page, and couldn’t be tapped.
- Every service in one bullet list on the homepage.
- Out-of-date details still live in 2026: “Over 25 Years” and a © 2023 footer.
What I changed
- 01
Works on every screen
A responsive build with a proper mobile menu, so the site reads at full size on a phone.
- 02
Clear next steps
Contact Us in the header, Our Services and Get In Touch in the hero, and tappable phone numbers.
- 03
Services you can scan
Six service cards on the homepage and a services page with a section for each.
- 04
Proof in numbers
Their track record up front: 30+ years, 1,000+ buildings audited, 5,000+ incentive applications.
- 05
Sectors at a glance
The six sectors they serve, from community housing to utilities.
- 06
Easy to keep current
Built in WordPress with Elementor, so the team can update details without a developer.
