Success storiesWood Law
Before and after
Wood Law, a clearer path to a consultation.
A State Bar certified estate planning specialist in Thousand Oaks, California, with a site that buried the next step. I redesigned it so families see the firm’s specialty, its reviews and a way to book on the first screen.

Before and after

What wasn’t working
- A 19-word headline that read like a credential list: “Have a State Bar Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law set up your will or trust.”
- On phones, no button and no phone number on the first screen.
- Booking meant scrolling down to a contact form at the bottom of the page.
- Reviews and proof sat far below the fold.
What I changed
- 01
The specialty, in five words
“Estate Planning Is Our Specialty”, with the Google review rating right above it.
- 02
Booking built in
Online booking for a 15-minute discovery call, linked from the hero, the top bar and every service.
- 03
A button on every phone
The discovery call button now sits on the first screen on mobile.
- 04
The phone where people look
The office number moved into the top bar on desktop.
- 05
Services, explained
Three service cards with the detail one click away, so the page stays short.
- 06
A modern build
Rebuilt on the current WordPress and Elementor Pro with a lean theme the firm can edit.
